Mission
The regional early childhood committee is an intersectoral consultation body bringing together the main sectors of activity or interest groups affecting young children and their families. Through the implementation of structural initiatives, it has a mandate for regional mobilization and coordination to contribute to the development of knowledge and promote better integration of interventions and greater coherence of actions among organizations and different networks in our region. It works to promote and foster the development of young children and their families on the North Shore, with the fundamental principle of its action being that the overall development of young children, while primarily the responsibility of parents, is a shared responsibility of the entire community.
Vision
By acting early, from pregnancy onward, we will have contributed to ensuring that North Shore children benefit from equal opportunities and have the possibility to reach their full potential; their parents are aware of their essential role with their children and are their heroes; the parent/child relationship is characterized by a secure and lasting attachment bond; partners are mobilized so that families receive the support they need; the community welcomes all children and their parents and encourages their active participation in its development.
