Mission
The Minganie Social and Community Development Table is a cross-sectoral collaboration space bringing together actors in municipal, community, health, and education. Its mission is to promote social and community development within the territory by collectively identifying intervention priorities and supporting the implementation of structural projects that meet the needs of citizens. This mission is part of a sustainable development approach, aiming to improve the quality of life for Minganie residents by implementing concrete initiatives adapted to local realities.

Approach
The Table is continuing to revise its action plan to better respond to the realities and needs of the territory. Among the planned actions, a partnership is to be developed to promote carpooling by leveraging existing platforms.
Municipalities will also be integrated into the transportation committee to foster collective work on public transit and paratransit issues.
The Table also wishes to highlight actions to promote the welcoming and retention of newcomers to the territory. With this in mind, the attraction and retention committee’s collaboration continues in order to develop welcome sheets for newcomers to Minganie.
Finally, the design of an online activities calendar, titled Agenda Minganie, is underway to better promote local activities and initiatives.
